Brehan Crawford grew up in McMinnville and is excited to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in his hometown.
In 2009, Brehan graduated from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters' degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He then spent five years apprenticing with Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. gaining clinical experience and learning about the deeper aspects of Chinese herbal medicine, cosmology and organ physiology. Brehan has also spent countless hours studying different systems of acupuncture, Asian bodywork styles, pulse diagnosis and nutrition.
Brehan has a profound grasp of the interconnectedness of our bodies' physiological systems both with each other and with the larger world around us, and is able to use this knowledge to effect great changes in his patients' health. He brings a grounded and open spirit of compassion to his clinical practice and believes this is what creates a space of deep healing. Outside of his clinical practice he enjoys spending time with his family and in nature. He also loves to sing and cook and practice martial arts.
Jocela Mae Crawford grew up in Mt. Shasta, California, and spent nine years in Portland before deciding to call McMinnville her home. She moved here and began managing the clinic in 2010 helping to direct the movement of the space to its current location and build upon its healing powers.
Jocela Mae manages both the creative and business sides of the clinic to provide a healing space for this community. In early 2013 she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification and is delighted to offer the craft of yoga as a complement to acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She teaches in a style that makes accessing the healing powers of yoga fun and simple for all.
In 2014 Jocela Mae gave birth to Ember Patricia, Jocela's and Brehan's first child. If you're lucky, you may see her crawling and babbling around the clinic. She's a great healer too.
